Read it, and I think the author got distracted while listing off the sins of this administration.
The reality is, in my mind, we have absolutely no idea what any of these candidates will be like as a president, and we never have. Bush ran as a moderate the first time around, and as a fear monger the second time. One of those was closer to the truth than the other, but neither was entirely accurate.

Some authors have to get distracted because many others don't even pay any mind at all.
